Hamas detonates suicide bomb, kidnaps IDF soldier 90 minutes into ceasefire

hadar ben leiahJust 90 minutes into the “humanitarian” “ceasefire”  Hamas emerged from a terror tunnel, detonated a suicide bomb and took one Jew hostage back through the tunnel.

Terrorists emerged from a tunnel shaft, and a suicide bomber detonated near soldiers prior to the suspected kidnapping; the IDF says incident is ongoing and that it is in the midst of efforts to track down missing soldier.

Some of the terror tunnels are almost 2 miles long and cost upwards of $1 million each to construct. Some of that construction money comes from American tax payers. Some of those tunnels were built with entrances inside United Nations buildings, ostensibly with tacit UN approval.

Two Palestinians killed in West Bank protest

An Israeli army spokeswoman told the AFP news agency soldiers used “riot disposal means” to control the protest.

Howard Stern gives impassioned defense of Israel (language)

sternWhen a caller attempted to blame Israel for the war with Hamas last week, SiriusXM radio host Howard Stern told him to “F*** off!” and then launched into an impassioned defense of Israel, saying “If you’re anti-Israel, then you’re anti-America” and arguing that Israel is “the only friend we have who’s willing to fight and stand up for what’s right.”

The tense exchange began when the caller predicted that Stern would turn his back on Israel when Comedy Central host John Oliver was in the studio.

Insanity defined – Kerry promises $47 million to Gaza

kerry 2Israel buried her war dead while continuing the grim task of destroying Hamas tunnel network.  Meanwhile, the ever-flaccid John Kerry, after griping about Israel, “We’ve got to get over there. I think we ought to go tonight,” announced $47 million in humanitarian aid for Gaza.

Kerry didn’t fly to Israel.  You see, he wasn’t invited there. Instead, he flew to Cairo, to insert himself into ongoing ceasefire talks. So instead of “sitting around” in Washington with no role in the negotiations, he’s sitting around in Cairo, with no role in the negotiations.

Why on earth would anyone expect that this money would be spent differently by Hamas than every other grant, aid, or transfer to Hamas, ever?  Instead of building homes, they build tunnels.  Instead of building bomb shelters for people, they build rockets.  Mr. Kerry, haven’t you heard the phrase “the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results”?

Our State Department and the UN act as if Israel is their enemy.
