Your tax dollars pay for mosque makeovers, imam Internet access

WSBT television news broke this story in July 2011 about the U.S. State Department wasting more than $770 million taxpayer dollars, using our money for mosque makeovers and other highly questionable and Islamic “projects” worldwide. Not surprisingly, the old media pretended not to notice.

“Trying to buy respect in the Middle East just shows US weakness,” says Nonie Darwish, a former Muslim born in Egypt. Darwish is the author of Now they Call Me ‘Infidel’ and other books, as well as many articles like Why Muslims Must Hate Jews, posted on American Spectator. Islamic leaders have called for her murder, because she escaped Islam. President Barack Hussein Obama’s foreign policy amounts to nothing more than appeasement, she says.

At the direction of Obama and Secretary Hillary Clinton, the State Department is wasting hundreds of millions our our hard-earned dollars to pay for everything from mosque building repairs and remodeling to Internet service and computers. The report documents graft and corruption worldwide, with U.S. officials spreading the money around in far-flung places like Cyprus, Mali and Tajikistan.

  1. What is the percentage of Muslim in America and how many muslims pays taxes in America? Are taxes only used for the non-Muslim projects in American? Why is religion as issue anyways? Why no comments on White American killing Sikhs in their temples? Then?

    • Because the white American killing Sikhs wasn’t at the direction of the government. This issue is about US tax dollars being spent on religious causes. Had it been spent on Christian churches, etc., we’d be hearing endless wailing about separation of church and state (and rightly so).
